Peter F. Singleton is not only the proud Pastor of the First

Missionary Baptist Church. He is also the father of 4 children, and the husband of our First Lady Carol Singleton. Pasor has given his dilegent heart, with he and his family who have dedicated their lives to serving in leadership at FMBC for over 23yrs.  

Pastor, was born on Devember 1, 1965 to Rev.  Allen J. Singleton Sr., and Mrs. Lydia Singleton in Houston, Texas. He spent most of his childhood growing up on a family farm with his grandparents in Marksville, Louisiana. 

 Pastor got his middle name Fitzgerald in honor of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy who had just recently been assassinated that November. 

At the age of 13 Pastor was greatly influenced by youth groups at New Covenant Baptist Church of Houston Tx, under the leadership of the Late Pastor Nathan Perry, where he gave his life to Christ. In of the great challenges of being a Pastor, at an early age Pastor felt a calling on his life to minster. In 1994 Pastor Singleton was ordained by Pastor Dr. Ralph West Sr. of the Brookhollow Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. After serving as Assist Pastor, in 1994 Pastor Singleton became the Pastor of First Missionary Batptist Church.
